Megan made the leap from Pennsylvania to Colorado in 2021, drawn by the change to produce in the community media realm. Fueled by a background rooted in communication, media studies, and production, along with a passion for education, creating more accessibility, and sharing impactful stories, Megan joined the DCM team with the intention of demystifying content creation and empowering communities often silenced or overlooked. The highlight of her past 4 years in community spaces has been working one-on-one with members, witnessing their confidence soar as they grasp the tools to tell their own stories.
